At Butterfly Valley you will have the opportunity to see mother nature doing her best work.
You may see a Cairns Birdwing, the largest butterfly in Australia or an amazing blue Ulysses butterfly. A Lace Monitor sun baking, a Wedgetail or Goshawk circling the treetops or maybe a Forest Kingfisher dive bombing insects.
We are also a popular spot for a lot of migratory species including the Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfisher, Dollar Bird, Brush Cuckoo and more. The creeks are also home to Jungle Perch, Turtles, Mud Gudgeons and Fresh Water Eels.
We also have protected Mahogany Glider and Cassowary habitat on the property.
